February - The Asses of Evil, and my other political views...

WARNING: This page contains some images which may disturb. And I don't just mean the picture of George W. Bush...

If you have taken the time to read the banner on my index page in its' entirety, then you hve probably gathered the vast majority of my political views. But this is my opportunity to rant and rave to my heart's content, and I plan to relish this opportunity.

So here it is, in a nutshell...

GEORGE W. BUSH AND HIS WAR ON IRAQ MAKE ME SICK

Supported by the Asses of Evil

among others.... Thank god the Spanish have come to their senses, with Jose Maria Aznar taking a landslide defeat in the March 2004 general elections in Spain.

USA, BRITAIN, AUSTRALIA, WAKE UP!

First and foremost: George W. Bush

The President of the United States. The term 'President' is used very loosely, as a recount of the Florida ballots after Bush's election showed that the true winner of that election was Al Gore. Anyway, that scandal aside, Bush has done nothing but run the United States into the ground ever since he has taken the helm. In it's current situation, Bush has turned what was the world's healthiest economy into one with a record budget deficit, somewhere in the realm of US$200 million, he has started a war on the basis of a guess rather than solid fact, a war which has killed more than 10 000 innocent Iraqi people and maimed countless more. He is also responsible for the deaths of 692 Allied servicemen and women as of 27/03/04, when I write this article. That number increases every day. 'Operation Iraqi Freedom' (ha!) has been going on for just over one year, so that equates to almost two military deaths per day, on average. Innocent soldiers, doctors, nurses, people from the United States and other unfortunate countries roped into 'The War on Terror' by their leaders. (See 'The Asses of Evil', above). And, as if it could get any worse, thanks solely to the efforts of Dubble-ya, the United States has lost nearly all of it's international allies due to its' stance on 'The War on Terror' and its' defiance of the United Nations, one of the world's most powerful and influential organisations.

The Land of the Free

and the Home of the Alienated...

But not only has Bush done these things, he is also cheating his own people. When he was elected, one of his key platforms was 'Education for All Americans'. Since taking office, Bush has cut almost all of the US$400 million he put into this program, nay, this promise, in favour of the defence and military budget, which now takes up almost half of the US Government's annual spending. He is even violating the Constitution of the very nation that has entrusted him with its' leadership. He has implemented laws restricting one of the fundamental rights of his people, the right of Free Speech. Take for example the arrest of Sherman Austin on August 4, 2003. He is the 20-year-old webmaster of a protest site, www.raisethefist.com, which has now been removed due to his incarceration. He was sentenced to more than one year in prison because some of the content on his site, protesting against the leadership of George W. Bush, was deemed as a threat to the US Government.

Free Speech My Ass!

It is reasons such as these that cause me to be Anti-Bush. And I think you'll find I am not the only one who sees through his charade.

'Evil will only triumph if good people do nothing...'

There is an election happening right now in the United States. There is an election coming up in Australia this year. This is our opportunity.

You are good people. So do something.

And now a final thought... with far more clarity than Jerry Springer will ever have...

“Naturally, the common people don't want war, but after all, it is the leaders of a country who determine the policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag people along whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leader. This is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in every country."
Herman Goering, Hitler's Reich Marshall at the Nuremburg Trials

Coincidence? You decide...
